Quick start

Create an account, add your site by its sitemap and paste one script tag.

This guide gets a working assistant onto your site. You need your site's sitemap URL and a way to add a script tag to your pages.

  1. Create an account

    Go to app.talktomysites.com/signup. Enter your email, name and a password of at least 8 characters, then click Sign up. You land on your dashboard. We also send a verification email, but you can start before you click it.

  2. Add your site

    Click Add your first site. Paste your sitemap URL, for example https://example.com/sitemap.xml, and click Add site. Name and Widget domain are optional; we use the sitemap's domain if you leave them blank.

  3. Copy the snippet

    Your site page opens with an Embed the widget card. Click Copy snippet. You can do this right away. Pages keep indexing in the background.

  4. Paste it on your site

    Paste the snippet just before the closing </body> tag, ideally in a layout or template that every page uses. Publish your site.

  5. Ask a question

    Open your site and click the chat bubble in the bottom corner. Ask something your pages answer. The reply lists the pages it used under Sources.

What happens next

Pages are indexed in small batches, once a minute, so larger sites take longer. Answers improve as more pages finish. The Indexing card shows progress.
