Introducing TalkToMySites: an AI assistant that answers from your own pages
Add your sitemap, paste one script tag, and your visitors can ask questions and get answers from your content, with sources.
Most websites already have the answers. The pricing page explains billing. The docs explain setup. The FAQ covers the edge cases. Visitors still email you, because finding the right paragraph on the right page is work.
TalkToMySites puts a chat assistant on your site that does that work for them. It reads your pages, and when someone asks a question it answers from your content and links to the pages it used.
What it does
You give us your domain and your sitemap. We crawl every page in it, strip out the navigation and footer noise, split each page into sections, and index them. When indexing finishes, you copy one script tag into your site.
From then on, visitors see a chat button. They ask a question in their own words, and they get an answer that streams in as it's written, with source links underneath. If they ask in French, they get French back, even when your pages are in English.
Why we built it
The pieces to do this yourself have existed for a while: a crawler, an embedding model, a vector database, a language model, and a widget. Wiring them together is a weekend project. Keeping them running, re-indexing when pages change, and stopping strangers from using your widget on their site is the part that never ends.
So we built it once, properly, as a hosted service. The crawling, indexing, search and answers run on our side, with accounts, teams, a dashboard and billing on top. You bring the sitemap.
What you get on day one
- Answers with sources. Every answer links to the pages it came from.
- A widget that stays out of the way. It's under 10 KB, loads after your page, and renders in a Shadow DOM, so it can't fight your CSS.
- Your brand, not ours. Set the accent colour, title, welcome message, position and theme with data attributes.
- Domain locking and rate limits. Your widget only works on your domain, and no single visitor can drain your plan.
- A dashboard that tells you things. Indexing progress, failed pages, a live preview, and the questions people are actually asking.
Pricing
There's a free plan for one site with up to 50 pages and 100 questions a month. No credit card. Starter is $19 a month for three sites, 500 pages each and 2,000 questions. Pro is $49 for ten sites, 2,000 pages each and 10,000 questions.
